Editorial policy

Our health content is designed to be useful without hiding uncertainty or commercial incentives.

Evidence first

We prefer systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized trials, government health resources, and other primary or authoritative sources. Claims should link to the evidence that supports them. Early or mixed evidence must be described as such.

Safety and scope

Guides distinguish education from medical advice, flag important contraindications when supported by evidence, and avoid promises of diagnosis, treatment, or guaranteed outcomes.

Product recommendations

Relevance, evidence, suitability, and reader value come before commission eligibility. Commercial relationships do not change our stated evidence grade. Eligible links are disclosed and marked for search engines.

Review and corrections

Automated tools may help draft or organize material, but health articles remain subject to editorial review before publication. We correct material errors and update the visible revision date. We do not claim medical review unless a qualified reviewer is explicitly named.

Reader reviews

Reader reviews are community experience, not clinical evidence or editorial endorsement. Overall reader ratings are kept separate from the Guide rating, research summaries, and recommendations. We do not label an email-verified contribution as a verified purchase, and we do not suppress negative reviews because they are negative.
